Congratulations Esethu Phiti (9E1) on yet another outstanding achievement! Below you can see Esethu's Technology class assignment. The instruction was to draw a single vanishing point perspective of a house or a truck (like the example shows top right on image). Esethu, did a double vanishing perspective, his teacher was speechless and immensely impressed with his outstanding work. Well done Esethu, you are truly a Hattie Achiever!!!
Bellville Technical High School was placed 2nd for Automotive Technology in the Western Cape after the 2018 NSC examinations.
HTS Bellville would like to congratulate Ameer Mohamed and Mr. Human on their outstanding achievement at the Toyota Technical Education Programme schools skills competition of 2018. Ameer achieved 2nd place out of 14 schools. We are extremely proud of this achievement.
CONGRATULATIONS to our Deputy Principal, Mr Arendorf who was awarded the BEST WELDING AND METALWORK TEACHER award at the Sasol Annual Technical Teachers Conference that took place in Johannesburg last week. BTHS has been awarded a certificate at the Metropole East Education District Matric Awards 2018 in the following category: GRADE 9 SYSTEMIC RESULTS - Schools achieving a pass rate of 70% or more in languages from 2017-2018 received this award. Ms Hartnick (English Subject Head represented BTHS).
It is with great pride that we share this outstanding achievement. One of our new Automotive, Technical and EGD educator’s, Mr Kumm, was awarded with a Certificate of Achievement by the Department of Education as Best Performing Teacher in Mechanical Technology Automotive Grade 12 for 2018 in the Fezile Dabi District while he was teaching at his previous school – Kroonstad High.
HTS Bellville entered 2 teams for the SAICE 2018 Bridge Building Competition at Canal Walk yesterday. Our hatties did very well since this is our first entry since 2009. We ended up 26th out of 39 entries. Very proud of our teams! Many thanks to Mr Bodenstein for coaching the teams. Great job! More pics to follow. Congratulations to Brackenfell High School with the no 1 & 2 spot with Protea Heights Academy no 3!
