Our HATTIE DRAGONS 1st XV rugby team for Saturday's first match of the Tony Stoops festival 2019 VS Lutzville will take place at Brackenfell High on the B-field at 14:45.

Our U19B rugby team will also be participating in this event - their first game will be on Saturday at 08:30 VS Paarl Gym.

Great TEAM SPIRIT amongst our HATTIE DRAGONS 1st XI Rugby boys yesterday afternoon in preparation for their games against Hermanus High and Durbanville High today. BTHS hosted Excelsior High School in two (under 16 and 19) friendly rugby matches yesterday afternoon. The Dragons won both matches with good sportsmanship and rugby being on display all day.

Team Building

Our HATTIE U/14 rugby team's coaches, Mr Kumm and Mr Beukes, took 26 learners out on a team building (eat as much as you can pizza) evening at Panarotis last night. The team really enjoyed the outing and the bottomless pizza. They challenged each other to see who could eat the most slices of pizza. The top pizza slice scorer ate 28 slices :) As their slogan goes: "The harder you hit, the less it hurts." 22February 2019

Bellville South

The Hattie junior rugby teams had their first taste of rugby for the year when they played against our neighbours, Bellville South on Thursday, 14 February 2019.
Both our U14 and U15 teams showed a lot of potential! We look forward to a great Hattie Rugby season!

Muizenberg

BTHS senior rugby teams (U16 &19) hosted Muizenberg High in pre-season friendly matches at Bellville THS yesterday. The hosts dominated proceedings with well structured rugby.
